Hey guys! So I have been planning this very special collab for a long time, and today I finally get to post it! It is a collab with Megan over at The Barefoot Gal. We have decided to compare/contrast what chores we do everyday on the farm! To read Megan’s part this post, and to see what part of her chores are different from mine, go head over to Megan’s blog . But first, read on for what I contribute to our farm! 5:30 AM (early, right? :))- This is the time I take to feed my horses a flake of hay. I have to do it before school which is why it’s soooooo early.

1:00 PM- Since I get out of school at 12:30, I go ahead and feed my horses grain, which they LOVE, and another flake of hay. This is also when I do all of their fly spray, treat their cracked hooves, and give them a good grooming session! At this time, I also feed my chickens, make sure they have fresh water, and collect eggs. We also usually give them either crushed eggshells baked for an hour at 200 degrees Fahrenheit, or 2 cups of yogurt. Sometimes, we’ll even make them a little treat like the one at the end of the post!

6:00 PM- This is when our dear ole horsies get their last flake of hay for the day!

Differences: Ok, so I have a bit more of a schedule whereas Megan’s times vary. I also have to get up early to do my chores. Finally, Megan has a LOT more chickens than me!!! Similarities: Okay, so the first thing I noticed is that Megan and I both have chickens! Of course, she gets 17,000 eggs a day, and I get about 12, but, minor difference😉 We both have other animals as well. I have horses and she has, well, you’ll have to click here to see! Trust me, you won’t be disappointed! I hope you guys LOVED seeing what I do on the farm! Now, click here to read Megan’s part of the post over at The Barefoot Gal!
