Have you been at your studio for months now and still don't feel like you belong? If so, keep reading! Here are some ideas for getting to know people and branching out.

1. Meeting Older Girls
-older girls love helping out and mentoring you
-it might feel embarassing at first as they put all their attention on you, but you'll get used to it and it might come into your advantage one day
-if you are in the oldest level, obviously this isn't an option, but try to make frinds within your level
2. Mentoring Younger Girls
-see if there are any classes that need a demonstrator or an assistant teacher still
-if you have class right before the kindergarten class, tell them they did a great job, and who knows, maybe next week they'll be the ones coming up to you after their class
3. Friends In Your Level
-this is the best way to make friends
-as said in our earlier post, still be respectful to your teacher and listen when she's teaching
4. Joining In Productions
-if your dance school does an annual winter show, be sure to participate in it
-this is a great bonding experience for students
5. Getting Together Outside of Class
-this is a must for making new friends
-just get together, you don't have to dance
Hope you enjoyed! Remember to leave suggestions for future blogs. Feel free to ask me questions as well.
